Gleneagle Secondary School, February 25, 2005. Former students of Debbie Bouska were awarded certificates for  the work they did in her grade 9 Humanities class last year after attending our exhibition of The Jade Book and our presentation, "Hewing a Stone of Hope." They started a Stone of Hope Scholarship fund in the spring of 2004 and raised several thousand dollars for a grade 12 student in need. Read details about school visits

Following our visit to Gleneagle Secondary School on February 25, 2005, Ms. Bouska's new grade 9 Humanities class raised $1,000 for Unicef (Stone of Hope Scholarship Fund 2005). Ms. Bouska's class was one of 50 classes from different schools chosen to enter a mannequin into a contest held in Metrotown Centre in the spring of 2005. They called their project "A Stone of Hope," inspired by The Jade Book: A Stone of Hope and the understanding  that the stones of hope which we create come in many forms and that each person is capable of hewing a stone of hope.
