Presentation for adult students/groups

  1. Adults see and touch the front cover of The Jade Book prior to the presentation.
  2. Speaker introduces herself and the sculptor and shows the video – 20 minutes.
  3. Speaker gives keynote speech – 35 minutes.
  4. Adults watch a power point presentation (where equipment is available) – 5 minutes.
  5. Adults ask the sculptor or the speaker questions. (This is optional and depends in part on the size of the group and the time available.)
  6. Adults have the opportunity to see the additions to the exhibit up close, touch The Jade Book (which will be open to reveal the carved image and words of one of the three humanitarians), speak with the sculptor and the speaker, sign the guest book, and fill out an evaluation form.

Total Time: Ideally 90 minutes (60 minutes for the presentation and 30 minutes to view the exhibit).   If booked at a conference, 60 minutes in total may do; people can view the exhibit during coffee and lunch breaks.

Equipment: We require a screen and video projector (for a VHS tape); for small groups a large television with a VCR may work instead. We also require a large table.
